独木成林
远远望去，一棵巨树，树高六丈有余，根深叶茂，树干粗壮，五六人张臂也不一定能环抱。它的树龄已近1400多年，它便是阳朔闻名遐迩的大榕树!我倚在围栏上，仰望着这棵古树，只见树顶犹如巨大的伞盖，遮天蔽日，它虬枝峥嵘，一条条气根深入地下，如同一棵棵独立的榕树，几十条气根与大树根茎相连，远远望去，仿佛是一片小树林，这就是所谓的“独木成林”了吧!在这片小树林中，处处系满了红色的祈福带，随风摇曳，传递着人们的美好心愿，彰显着春节的祥和!

龙脊梯田
我站在高高的梯田顶端，极目远眺，梯田宛如巨龙盘旋。播种的季节快到了，环视四周，梯田已注满了水，在阳光的映衬下，梯田银光闪闪，波光粼粼。它延绵而下，一望无际，每层的梯田在边角都有一个小缺口，晶莹的流水从缺口处流下，汨汩流淌。梯田是因为山区平地较少，为拓广耕地范围而特有的景观，我不禁赞叹人类的智慧!拾级而下，我漫步在山间的古老村落中，家家户户门面上都贴了喜庆的春联，老人围坐在炉边，烤着红薯与鸡蛋，炊烟袅袅，香气弥漫。潺潺溪水在村间缓缓流淌，偶然看见几只可爱的小鸭，在清冽的水中嬉戏，不时发出“嘎嘎”的欢叫。
我也陶醉于这梯田，村落的宁静祥和……
风土人情
景物从车窗晃过，我兴奋的喊着：“快停车，路边有许多橘子!”只见路旁满是卖橘子的小摊，支着红顶凉蓬，远望去，如同两条红色走廊。车在一名伯伯的摊前停下了，只见他中等身材，身着粗布衣裳，黝黑的脸上布满皱纹，笑容憨厚。他高兴地向我们打着招呼：“新年好哇!买橘子?”妈妈笑着点点头。我好奇的观察这些橘子，叶子绿油油的，很新鲜，外皮未打蜡，略是青涩，却自然健康。妈妈尝了一瓣，露出欣喜之色，啧啧称赞，伯伯笑容愈发灿烂，用浓浓的乡音质朴的说“这是自家种的!”边说着，手向另一边指去，我望向那边，那儿一片橘子林，枝丫上挂满大红灯笼，平添了更多的喜庆欢欣!

it was summer. l came to guilin by train. as soon as i left the station, a few minutes' bus ride took me to the "hill of elephant trunk". the hill of elephant trunk is very big and really like an elephant drinking water. the city of guilin is small. looking up, i saw mountains around and in front of me. all of the houses seemed to be at the foot of the mountains.
the water of the li river is clear and green. many ships harbour at the part, which is very near, only a few yerds' away. i went to the seven star park and got on the seven star rock. inside the cave is a magnificent sight. the thousand-year-old stone olocks, the stone bamboos, with the explanation of miss guide. become alive and glisten in color.
then i came to the "camel hili", which is exactly like a camel. i wanted to ride on its back. the wonder of guilin lies in its natural beauty, without any artificial element. i rowed in the river and enjoyed it greatly. the rain falls and the mountains are enveloped in steam and fog.
guilin, the small city is unique and like a water color painting, especially a chinese painting. i want to actualize my potentiality to add to its color.

the morning of july 23rd, we very early with luggage, take the airport express to finish the baiyun airport.
9:40, the plane finally took off. after 45 minutes of smooth flight, we arrived at guilin, we travel destination. off the plane, i shouted: " guilin, here i come ".

人们都说：“桂林山水甲天下!“我于是对桂林产生了浓厚的兴趣。如今，我终于可以去桂林看看了!
暑假里，我、弟弟、外婆和妈妈乘坐着高铁，来到了美丽的桂林。
第一天，我们来到杉湖，这是桂林四湖中面积最小的一个湖，湖的正中立着两座大名鼎鼎的塔，一个叫日塔，一个叫月塔。日塔是用铜制做的;月塔用琉璃装修，又名石橛塔、法济塔。“日”与“月”组成了“明”，代表桂林人的明天更美好。
第二天，我们来到遇龙河和漓江，乘坐竹筏漂流，还提前准备了20元的人民币。上了竹筏，只见漓江的水又浅又清又静，水底下的鹅卵石都可以看见：有像叶片的呀，像帽子的呀……石头下面有一种小鱼，长得像泥鳅，颜色呢，有灰色、黄色、黑色……都和石头的颜色差不多，所以我就给它们取了个外号，叫“隐形大师”。它们就生活在这么静的江底。漓江的水轻轻地流淌着，随着轻风吹动，才会荡起层层波纹。
去过漓江后，我们又去了桂林的城徽——象鼻山。
象鼻山呢，非常奇妙。远看像老鼠，近看像大象。象鼻山旁边的江叫桃花江，是两江之一，江边种植着数不胜数的桃花树，我想象着花开时的情景，花瓣伴着轻风飘进江中去旅行，像一艘艘远去的船儿，又像鱼儿欢快地在水里游走，那会是多美的画卷啊。我们沿着象鼻山底的石板路登上了山顶，站在观景台往下眺望，看见几朵“蘑菇”，原来那是树;看见了几个小黑点，那便是人。
桂林不仅山美、水美、溶洞更美。
我们在著名的芦笛岩里，看见了许多奇异的钟乳石。其中，使我印象最深的是“蘑菇山”和“雄狮送客”。“蘑菇山”是一个最值得去看的地方。一朵一朵的“蘑菇”堆到了山顶，下面的大，上面的小。顶上坐着两位爱锻炼的“老人”，在一起品茶，一起聊天。溶洞出口处就是“雄狮送客”，也很有意思，只见"雄狮“昂着头，挺着胸，像在对大家说：”欢迎下次来玩!“
我们还去了桂林很多著名的景点：龙脊梯田、东古瀑布、西街、逍遥楼……这些景点都令人陶醉。桂林真是个旅游的好地方。
