四年级时，我最喜欢的数学老师因为担任了其它班级的班主任离开了，新来的老师姓陈，个子不高，身体很壮，脸上总是那么慈祥和蔼地挂着笑容，他亲亲切切地做了个自我介绍。尽管这位陈老师给我们的印象不错，但可能是因为我太喜欢原来的数学老师了，所以对这位陈老师完全没有好感，自然也不怎么喜欢他教的这门功课了。
几周后的一天，陈老师拿着我的作业本把我叫上了讲台。“苏畅，你怎么连作业本里这么简单的题目都做错了，老师不是都讲过了吗？”虽然我知道这次是我的错，但我还是十分不甘心地小声回了一句“还不是你教的不好”。
时间过得很快，半个学期过去了，我也慢慢了解了陈老师，感受到他对我们的真诚和尽心。想起那次在课堂上顶撞他的情形，就觉得很对不起他，不该那样不敬，就想着等期末考试后跟老师道歉，请他原谅我之前的过错。但是不久，陈老师却生了重病，离开了讲台直至去世。
听到陈老师去世的消息时，我简直不敢相信自己的耳朵，一直很健壮的陈老师怎么可能这么快就因病离世！我一直告诉自己这一定是个假消息，可是，陈老师的确已经离开我们了。
就这样，我错过了向陈老师道歉的机会，陈老师也永远不会知道我欠着他一个道歉。
陈老师已经离开我们快三年了，但他的音容笑貌时时在我脑海里出现。是啊，生命总是这样脆弱，我们都要好好珍惜自己身边的人，不要等到错过了才后悔。

著名的军事家孙子说过这么一句话："过也，人皆见之；更之，人皆仰之。"每个人都不可避免地会做错一些事情，包括家长、老师、和学生，做错了事情并不可怕，只要能够改正错误，及时向他人道歉，还是可以得到别人的谅解的，能够挽回事情的局面。
