yes. it does matter if we destroy an endangered species habitat to develop more farmland, housing or industrial parks. there is a delicate balance of nature. if one small part is removed, it will effect all the other parts.for example, if certain trees are cut down, bats will have no place to roost. if they cannot roost, they cannot breed. if there are no bats, there will be no animal, or bird to eat certain insects that plague our crops.
yes. our environment has been affected by the absence of certain animals. certain flowers are pollinated by butterflies, which migrate from canada to mexico.
some of the breeding grounds of these butterflies were destroyed. now these flowers are disappearing from certain areas. we will no longer be able to enjoy their beauty.
yes. the quality of our life has been changed america used to be covered with giant trees. now we have to visit them in one small park.rain forests around the world are being cut down to make room for humans. we will never be able to see or study this fragile ecosystem.
i would encourage us humans to look for other alternatives for our farmlands, housing, and industries. we have alternatives; the animals do not.

有一年旅行，在汉街遇到过一只狗，一只棕色的泰迪。在汉街来来往往的人特别多，少不了在大热的天还带狗出来溜的，其中有一只白色的巨型犬(类似牧羊犬，对狗不太了解)被主人戴着绳索，不得自由，当那只自由的棕色小泰迪遇见白色巨型犬，汉街顿时热闹起来：小泰迪不厌其烦地挑逗着那只受了限制的巨型犬，一次又一次地跑到巨型犬面前吠两声，箭一般地撒腿就逃，尖锐与深沉的狗叫声合奏起来……如此重复，像极了“唯女子与小人难养也”里的小人!
楼下有一只狗，看模样，不是草狗，也算得上是有规格的狗，黑色的，泰迪。刚搬来时，这狗每遇见我，便要冲过来狂吠，恨不得扑上来咬我几口。我很怕狗，每一次我只能钉在那里，一动不动，后来，远远看见它，我便绕道走了，再后来，越想越觉得自己太怂：姐怎么能被一狗欺负?!约了一日，一绝胜负。见了面，又是一副要咬我几口的势头，见我俯身捡石子，便犹豫地往后退去，狗叫声也渐渐低下来，我把石头往那狗旁边扔去，它便吓得跑远了，心下哼了一句：真是条贱骨头!再一日，远远瞧见那狗，傻傻地端坐在主人门口，觉得几分可怜：生是一个宠物狗，却沦落到看家狗与流浪狗的命运。只有在晚上主人回来时才能吃得上一顿饱饭，一整个白天都是被锁在门外过流浪狗的生活，偶尔傻坐在主人家门口，为主人看家护院，碰到类似我这种柔弱的过路者还得欺负一阵，稍微给它点颜色就吓得屁滚尿流。
